Objective

Support client’s global content initiatives by producing and refining editorial content that aligns with brand tone, enhances storytelling, showcases product value, and improves SEO performance. The writer will play a dual role, creating net new content and upgrading existing regional content for consistency and quality.

Profile Overview

The client seeks a copywriter with exceptional storytelling ability, sensitivity to brand tone, and a contemporary writing style that avoids overly “salesy” language. The ideal candidate will bring a consumer-first mindset, understand content design collaboration, and can work across global markets with regional nuance. It is a “nice to have” that this writer has an understanding of the audio space and be able to speak to the industry terminology, while also having a passion for music and music culture. They would love to have someone who stays up to date with themes in social media and has a fresh, creative perspective.

Scope

  • Commitment: 20-25 hours/week
  • Duration: Long-term collaboration anticipated (6+ months).
  • Content Types: Website articles, product stories, editorial content, repurposed copy, and promotional assets (social modules, homepage banners).

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging editorial articles aligned with the client's tone of voice and SEO strategy.
  • Refresh and restructure existing global content to improve storytelling and alignment with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand narratives and product messaging.
  • Coordinate with design teams on layout and asset integration (e.g., selecting images, preparing Figma layouts).
  • Maintain and update brand voice documentation based on feedback and iterations.
  • Assist with content strategy workshops and planning as needed.
  • Complete self-driven research whether through internal interviews with SMEs, reading internal documentation, or third-party research
  • Participate in AI tooling discussions to enhance future content scalability.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in brand and editorial copywriting.
  • Background in audio, tech, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, user-first content practices, and international content adaptation.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt and maintain a witty, conversational, and engaging tone.
  • Experience working with global teams and multilingual content (Spanish fluency a plus).
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma and content management systems.
  • Comfortable reaching out to stakeholders and conducting interviews if needed.
  • Open to responsible AI use for research and drafting, under human supervision.
  • Strong editorial judgment and sensitivity to brand storytelling.
