Compose.ly is looking for awesome editors who love digital content as much as we do! We need you to edit and deliver consistent, high-quality content across industries for a variety of clients (including Fortune 500 companies) by editing at least 10,000 words a week.

Note that several of our clients, including the one mentioned above, add author bylines to these articles. Please apply only if that works for you.

Also, note that we are currently in a ramp-up period, meaning we’re onboarding several new writers and editors to our community in anticipation of an increased number of projects. If you are onboarded to our editor team successfully, please know that project availability might feel a bit slim as you first get started, but it will increase as we head into the new year.

Requirements

  • Intimate familiarity with English
  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • Familiarity with the AP style

What would make you stand out:

  • A background in SEO and content marketing
  • A degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, or other relevant fields
  • Extensive editing experience

Responsibilities

  • Rework, edit, and/or proof blog articles, white papers, web copy, and more across industries
  • Manage multiple client projects at a time including corresponding with individual writers
  • Use Compose.ly platform to track, organize, and upload projects
  • Request revisions and coordinate client-requested revisions with writers
  • Provide a rating and constructive feedback to writers
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in SEO and content marketing
