We are seeking an experienced Financial Research & Sector-Specific Content Writer with a strong background in finance, M&A, and sector-specific business coverage who will support our team in producing timely, intelligent, and insightful content that reflects our market expertise.
Scope and Duration:
- 20 hrs/week
- 1 year duration
You Will:
- Write insightful, well-sourced financial commentary and research-driven thought pieces
- Translate trade shows, M&A activity, and sector news into timely content across formats
- Support long-form whitepapers, short-form updates, and event-driven market coverage
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to reflect industry-specific insight and tone
- Contribute ideas and structure for a scalable, sustainable editorial engine
- Write ghostwritten or bylined pieces suitable for web, email, and LinkedIn dissemination
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional writing experience in finance or investment-related sectors
- A strong portfolio demonstrating financial acumen, business storytelling, and data-driven reporting
- Deep knowledge in one or more of the following verticals:
- Branded Consumer Products
- Active Lifestyle & Fitness
- Better-for-You Food
- Agriculture & Agtech
- The ability to distill complex industry developments into digestible, high-impact content
- Impeccable grammar, structure, and editing skills
- A collaborative, flexible work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
Bonus Points If You:
- Have written for or worked with publications like The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Money.com, or similar
- Can write with clarity and personality in a ghostwriting context
- Are skilled in using AI-assisted drafting tools or interested in leveraging them
- Have experience writing sector commentary under tight turnarounds
